Update on 16-Acre Legacy Park & Municipal Complex Project

Watch this brief update from Town Manager Rafael Casals to learn the latest on the 16-Acre Legacy Park and Municipal Complex Project.

Here are some highlights:

  • 9 Architectural design firms submitted proposals for RFQ to design the final site plan
  • Town Selection Committee will shortlist the 9 firms to top three qualified
  • Top 3 firms will prepare a design for the site to present during a Town Council Workshop on March 15
  • Town Council will select final firm that will design the site on March 22

Join us January 21 for our 13th Annual Chili Cook-Off!

Only one week to go to our 13th Annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 2 PM to 6 PM at Cutler Ridge Park!

If you want to join the competition, the deadline to join is Jan. 19 by 6 PM!
The cook-off is open to everyone and we will have three divisions—Amateurs, Restaurants and Firehouses. Cash prizes will be awarded in all three categories as well as for Best Decorated Booth and People's Choice. Cook-off categories are:
  • Chili
  • Salsa
  • Cornbread


Event Highlights:
  • Free Chili, Salsa and Cornbread samples (while supplies last)
  • Food Trucks
  • Live Music by hometown band Cutler Stew
  • Kids Zone: Face painters, inflatables, video game bus, and balloon artists

Food Truck Night on Feb. 10

Join us for our Food Truck Night on Friday, February 10, from 6 PM to 9 PM at Cutler Ridge Park (10100 SW 200 Street, Cutler Bay, FL 33189). We'll have several food trucks on site, music, and kids activities. Share this with your neighbors and friends and bring your lawn chairs and blankets!

Get Involved in Your Community—Join a Town Committee

We're looking for a Cutler Bay resident to fill an opening in our Economic Growth Committee. This committee studies, advises and makes recommendations to the Town Council in regard to marketing of the Town, attracting new businesses and supporting existing businesses. The Committee consists of five Town residents that meet quarterly throughout the year.
