STRONG in Faith & Compassion

Last week our school was heartbroken over the loss of our beloved Mrs. Jackson, a long-time WCA teacher and recent substitute teacher. Our teachers lost a dear friend but faithfully supported our students with age-appropriate discussion, Christian guidance, and prayer. Our students lost a mentor but showed great compassion by creating beautiful cards that included special memories for her family. We will continue to love and support each other as we celebrate Mrs. Jackson's life and faith as a school family. #wca20strong #AllinHim

Kathy Jackson's Celebration of Life and Faith service will be held in the Sanctuary at Weddington UMC on Tuesday, January 18th at 3:00 pm. All are welcome. Please note that we will have early dismissal at 2:30pm, so our staff can attend the service.

Inclement Weather Communication

In the event of school closings or delays due to weather, information will be communicated to our WCA families via email and Remind. This information will also be on our website at weddingtonchristianacademy.org, and on television on WSOC, WCNC, and WBTV.

2022-23 School Year

Thank you for entrusting us with your child(ren) for the 2021-2022 school year. We look forward to partnering with your family again!

WCA families have until January 16, 2022 to complete the re-enrollment process. After that date, we cannot guarantee your child's space at WCA next year unless you have registered them through re-enrollment in Family Portal.

Jan 10 - Enrollment opens for WUMC/WCP families & siblings of current WCA students.

Jan 17 - Community registration opens.

Upward

Flag Football

WUMC is planning an Upward Flag Football Season for boys and girls grades 1st-6th. Evaluations will be on Feb 26 at 9 am. The season will be from March 5 - May 14. Practice and games will be on Saturdays on the fields behind the Family Life Center. The cost is $135.
