2023 Spring MATA Conference

MATA Background: Formed in 1998, SEMATA's founding principle is to create an environment that fosters communication and training among automotive teachers in southeastern Michigan. In 2018, SEMATA expanded to cover all of Michigan under the name MATA - Michigan Automotive Teachers Association. The organization holds two conferences each year. The fall conference is held in southeast Michigan and the spring conference is held elsewhere in Michigan. Both conferences include technical training compliant with ASE Education Foundation (formerly NATEF) requirements, a tool and equipment show to help keep instructors current with the latest technical material, raffles and live demos.
