A year ago this month, we had a poetry reading over Zoom to celebrate National Poetry Month, featuring poems found in the Library’s collection. Over time, that live reading morphed into a monthly recording of poetry in the public domain—Well-Versed.

Join us on Friday, April 14 for Fun Friday! Feel free to come to any or all of the programs.

3:45-4:45 – After-School Activities

Students are welcome to come directly after school (bus pass required). We’ll be crafting with perler beads.

4:45-5:15 – Pizza Time

Featuring pizza from The Spot! $4 for two slices of cheese pizza. Must call or email the Library to register before 6:45pm on Thursday, Apr. 13 if want to have pizza; pay when you arrive.

5:15-7:00 – Family Movie Night

This month, we’ll be showing Puss In Boots: The Last Wish (PG).

Matinée Café

The Matinée Café is a monthly movie showing for adults on one Saturday every month! Before and after each showing, there'll be a chance to have some light refreshment and chat, or talk about the movie.


Mark your calendars--the next Matinée Café will be held on Saturday, April 22nd. The café will open at 2pm, and the movie will begin at 2:30. This month's movie is Joyride (2022, unrated).

Cribbage/Yarn Arts Power Hours

Wednesdays, 2-4pm

Yarn Arts. Drop in at the Library for our Yarn Arts Group. Bring your latest knitting/crocheting project and hone your craft with others. If you're a beginner, come to watch others work and learn. Heck, even macramé would be okay!


Cribbage. Drop in at the Library for Cribbage! Boards and cards provided, but feel free to bring your own as well. Stop by and play the classic game with other folks. New players are always welcome to learn the ins and outs of the game.
