CPAP Recall Delays Harmful for Sleep Apnea Patients

Last year, we brought you the news of Phillips recalling millions of CPAP machines due to the dangerous breakdown of sound-dampening foam inside. In the face of high replacement costs, sleep apnea patients using the affected devices may be forced to use them despite the risks. U.S. officials are considering legal action to speed a replacement effort that may stretch into 2023. Read more here.
