In January, the University Archives launched a new online exhibit, the Drexel Family Digital Archive. This new exhibit documents the legacy of Anthony J. Drexel and his family, bringing together materials such as photo albums, costumes, paintings, furniture and more to tell the story of the founder of Drexel.

The Libraries is excited to announce Drexel Professors Esther Chernak and Christopher Sales will offer "food for thought" during the winter and spring 2021 ScholarSip events, respectively. Both guest speakers will address this year’s theme, Responding to COVID-19 through Research and Scientific Problem-Solving.


Thirty-five years after the National Library of Medicine launched DOCLINE, an interlibrary loan system that supports resource sharing among medical libraries, our staff reflect on the importance of the service and how it continues to benefit libraries and the communities they serve 35 years later.



Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion has long been fundamental to the Drexel Libraries’ core mission and values. This year, the Libraries is taking additional steps to formalize its commitment to creating a culture of inclusion that supports diverse ideas and people.
