In addition to the annual Alumni Basketball Tournament, a new event brought Cougar alumni back to campus over the holidays. The CCHS Lacrosse Team was joined by LAX alumni who braved the wintry weather and came to campus Saturday, December 23 for game and reunion.

The holiday events brought back parents of these alumni along with their children. Always a friend and family affair, this year's basektball tournament rosters included four members of the one family (Jeff '85, Holden '17, Jacob '20 and Lily '22 Schachte), twelve sests of siblings along with several fathers and sons playing with and against each other.

2022 Alumni Basketball Tournament Brings Post-Christmas Excitement to CCHS

The Annual Alumni Basketball Tournament was held Monday, December 26, 2022 at CCHS and St. Ann. 128 alumni from five decades of graduating classes made up 15 teams who competed in a day of fun and fellowship.

Friends and family cheered on the teams during 22 games throughout the day. After spirited moning pool play games including two overtme games, eight teams with winning records advanced to the champtionship bracket play.

In a rematch of last year's champtionship game, x2 (formerly Peaked in High School) defeated Dirty Like Soap 58-55.

2023-2024 School Year Admissions and Re-Enrollment Information:

New to MACS Students:

• The 2023-2024 MACS Admissions season is now open for new to MACS students. Siblings or friends from outside a MACS school can now apply here: https://www.discovermacs.org/apply
• Applications are due March 1

Re-Enrollment for current CCHS Students or Holy Trinity 8th graders wishing to attend Charlotte Catholic begins on March 15.

• Current students will receive information via email in March on how to complete their re-enrollment to remain in the MACS system. 
• Families have between March 15 and March 31 to complete re-enrollment to secure their seat. If re-enrollment is not completed by March 31, they may lose their seat.
• This applies to ALL current students; those coming from Holy Trinity to CCHS and those that are currently in CCHS.
