SB 9 – Understanding the Design and Financial Implications of the California HOME Act

An AIAOC Housing Committee Webinar

California’s Senate Bill 9 went into effect on January 1, 2022, mandating that governing jurisdictions cannot stop R1 properties from become multi-family. This program will explore what is allowed to be designed under this new law, and the financial impacts and opportunities created by maximizing a site.

This course provides an overview of the LBC philosophy, program, and components. This course is for anyone interested in green and sustainable building and those wanting to learn more about the Living Building Challenge program.
