I cannot believe it is already October! I hope your school year is off to a fantastic start. For me, this is the first year in a while that has felt “normal.” I hope you can relate and are having some of the same feelings!
The VISION conference is coming up quickly. Are you registered? I have been busy the past few months adding more industry partners and events for the Health Science Education (HSE) Division. You won’t want to miss it! This year, there will be a luncheon, a reception, and of course, the hospitality room. I am still meeting with partners to see what else we can add to make this a meaningful event for you. Don’t forget to RSVP for the luncheon here.
Your HSE nominating committee also interviewed two candidates for the VP-elect position. It seems like I just started and here I am looking for my successor. We are always looking to get more members involved in a leadership journey. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you would like to get involved. There are spots on our committees now, and we can always use more bodies to help keep things running smoothly.
