As we begin another semester, we want to thank you for your tireless work in supporting our community through the many challenges we have faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We look forward to continuing to collaborate with you as the University of Kansas moves closer to a fully in-person campus experience for our students. While our students will be on-campus, we want to make sure we lean into promoting whatever mode of support you are needing- in-person or virtual.

The Center for Service Learning staff will continue to work in a hybrid capacity this spring, with each team member spending some time in the office and some time working remotely. We can still be reached during normal "office hours" by email, phone, and web chat.

We hope that the information we share in this communication is helpful in considering how you might connect with students, faculty, and other members of the KU community this year. As always, do not hesitate to reach out to us for support.

How Can We Help?
The CSL uses a number of resources to promote opportunities that come to us, including Hire Jayhawks, volunteer.ku.edu. We are happy to promote community programs on your behalf!

We would also love to connect you directly with faculty, researchers, student organizations, and more to support meaningful partnerships across our community.

Let us know how we can promote and garner support for your work completing our partnerships and opportunities survey.

Helpful Resource:
Service Project Agreement
We have created a service project agreement that we will be promoting to instructors that teach service learning classes, so that students are really thinking through the logistics and goals of their service experience.

If you're working with a KU student either through a class or through co-curricular volunteering, please encourage them to complete our Service Project Agreement form in addition to the agreement they sign with your organization.

Connect with our
Student Organizations!
The Center for Service Learning Serves as the advisory organization for five student service organizations. These organizations are always looking for new partnerships and service opportunities for their members!
