Paideia at Tulsa Classical Academy
One of the great things happening at TCA is parent participation and volunteer support. It is estimated that the school has 20 – 25 volunteers per day. These volunteers are spending an average of 4 hours per day at TCA. They are helping the school's operations by working in classrooms, making copies, answering phones, wiping tables, supervising recess, applying band-aids, and various other tasks. We estimate that close to 400 hours of volunteer work are done each week to help TCA.

Research has shown that when parents actively engage in their children's education, it positively impacts their academic performance, social development, and overall well-being. When parents take an active interest in their child’s education, the student tends to have higher grades, better attendance, and improved test scores. Parental involvement often reinforces the value of education to children.

TCA would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your invaluable support of our school. Your willingness to help has made a significant difference in our students' academic journey. In addition to modeling the virtues we are trying to teach students, you are strengthening the TCA community.

October Virtue Recipient
Congratulations to one of our recipients Silas Newkirk, 3rd grade, on receiving the Virtue Award for Justice.

Silas' teacher, Mrs. Maust, says, "He is respectful to teachers and obeys the rules. He is also kind, fair, helpful, and patient with his classmates. He displays Justice throughout the school day and encourages those around him!"

Great job, LionHearts, for exemplifying justice in all you do.
