Wall of Wins, Open for Applause
"Most of the time when the Office of Marketing and Communications asks to interview a Sage student or grad, they respond along the lines of 'Sure, send me the questions,' or 'Sure, I am available next week,' but when we reached out the NYS State Elementary Principal of the Year (an Educational Leadership grad) and High School Principal of the Year (a current Ed.D. student), they responded, 'Yes, I would love to! Sage completely altered my leadership style and is a huge factor in the success of our school,' and 'It means a lot to have Sage celebrating this milestone with me ... I’m incredibly pleased with the Educational Leadership program at RSC, and I’d love to speak about how it continues to support both my personal growth and professional journey.' Congratulations and thank you to the Educational Leadership program for graduating such successful leaders and having such a positive influence that they are raving about the program even before the interview 'officially' begins."

(We suspect Chompers did ok in the men's bracket, too! Florida Gators are his second-favorite collegiate basketball team.)

Honors, Innovating to Impact Project Inspired by Volunteer Work with ECAR
Have you seen the Every Campus a Refuge banner on Kellas Hall in Troy? Student Skylar Rowe created it! Skylar says,
"When asked to create a project that was a bridge between the honors program and RSC-301, it took me a while to come up with what I wanted to do. I’ve always loved to create art, so I thought of how I could tell a story with a piece I created that connected to my volunteer work. I volunteered for several Every Campus a Refuge events during the semester which gave me inspiration for the banner I made. I drew monarch butterflies because they are known for traveling thousands of miles, much like many of the refugees that have been taken in by ECAR. I made the wings of the butterflies colors of different flags to represent the different nationalities of those we have helped at Russell Sage. Hopefully there will be many more families to come, each with their own unique journey."
