Winter Session is a great time to catch up, get ahead, take a course that interests you or even choose one (like our personal and family finance course) that will give you skills you'll use throughout your life!


Plus, nearly all courses we're offering meet the U.S. Diversity requirement and many are open to all majors.

  • The National Retail Federation Student Association is hosting a non-perishable food drive to benefit The Shop on-campus. Stop by 30 MacKay to drop off non-perishable foods between November 9-18 between 8 am-4:30pm.


  • It's Gayme Night at the Sloss House! Bring your favorite multiplayer games and snacks on Nov. 16 at 5:30 p.m. to join in on the fun!




  • Women* Climb Night is back on Nov. 30! Drop in anytime from 7 to 10 p.m. at State Gym to climb! The event is open to students who identify as women or genderqueer.


  • Physical Activity is an Underused Resource for COVID-19 Pandemic: Join this lecture with speaker, Dr. James Sallis, on Dec. 1, at 7 p.m., located at the Great Hall in the Memorial Union.

Favorite CHS Study Spots!


  • The CTLT is located in the basement of Lagomarcino Hall. You will find individual stations with their own LCD TVs, perfect for group assignments and study sessions.


  • The Palmer Balcony is on the second floor of the Palmer Building. There, you will find tables, comfortable chairs and the perfect space to study.


  • Sparks Café is on the fourth floor of the Student Innovation Center, where you can enjoy a delicious coffee, snacks and lunch while doing classwork!


  • The second floor of Forker is an open area complete with comfy chairs and sure to be your new favorite study spot when you are on the East side of campus!

Center for Technology in Learning and Teaching

celebrates 25 years



The Center for Technology in Learning and Teaching in the School of Education is celebrating 25 years! Founded in 1997, the CTLT will be celebrating with a week of ‘technology’ activities (Dec. 5-8) in 0640 Lagomarcino and a special public lecture. Dr. Punya Mishra will be on campus Tuesday, Dec. 6. Mishra is the Associate Dean of Scholarship and Innovation at Arizona State’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. A reception will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. with a presentation at 5:45 and the lecture will begin at 6 p.m. in room 1302 of the Advanced Research and Teaching Building.
