St. Joseph High School - A Catholic College Preparatory Community
Dear Friends,

Happy Monday, St. Joes. I hope that you enjoyed a wonderful winter weekend and the scenic beauty provided by the Friday snowfall. As we prepare for another success-oriented week on Campus, I want to publicly commend my SJ teammates for their professionalism, grit, and unselfish dedication to our school, the students, and one another.

The unwavering "Can Do" attitude on display at St. Joes during this very challenging time is emblematic of the loving and loyal commitment the faculty, staff, and administration has for our students and your family. It is very special and not something to be taken for granted. Please join me in praying for the outstanding SJ adults that faithfully carry out the mission of St. Joseph High School each day. We are St. Joes - Always Stronger Together!

As you know, we have an adjusted schedule this week and the details are included below to assist you with organizing your family calendar. If you are seeking some wholesome SJ weekend fun, please consider participating in our Virtual Parent Trivia Night on Saturday evening, January 15. As always, I will include you and yours in my daily prayers and intentions for peace, health, and happiness. May you enjoy a fulfilling week ahead.

In Faith and Fellowship,
David J. Klein

The American Academy of Pediatrics and other experts recommend that you keep your child home sick if they are experiencing the following symptoms:

  1. Fever—any temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit (F) or greater
  2. Vomiting or Diarrhea
  3. Persistent cough or difficulty breathing
  4. Severe pain (like a migraine headache or severe earache)
  5. Severe sore throat, especially when accompanied by a fever
  6. A significant rash, especially when other symptoms are present
  7. Large amounts of discolored nasal discharge

These could be signs of a contagious illness, like strep throat, the flu, or COVID-19.

At St. Joes, we continue to follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC and the Town of Trumbull Department of Health. The health and wellness of our school community is paramount. Thank you for your continued support keeping everyone safe and well at SJ.
