COVID Testing Protocol for Winter Break: On Monday, January 3, COVID Testing Today will be on campus to conduct COVID testing from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. January 3 is a faculty in-service day and there will be no classes for students, so families should be prepared to leave immediately after students receive their tests. If for any reason you cannot attend that testing date, you will need to acquire a PCR COVID test (not antigen) between Saturday, January 1, and Monday, December 3, in order to return to campus.
Hello Husky Community,

Well it’s official, I have been on campus for six months. I fall more in love with our community every day. This week I want to share a few of my reflections and some information about upcoming reenrollment and financial aid.

Over the past several months, our students have demonstrated a level of resilience and compassion that I am in awe of. Our teachers are the most dedicated and passionate educators on the planet. Our Husky Community, led by our amazing Board of Trustees, has been welcoming and so much more than I ever could have imagined. I am so grateful to be a Husky.

When we come back from break there are some important parts of our enrollment process that will come up quickly. First, our reenrollment contracts for RHP, Ren, and REACH will go out the week of January 27. Contracts must be signed and returned with a 10% deposit by Friday February 11 to reserve your child’s spot for the 2022-23 school year. Second, if your child attends RHP or Ren and is on financial assistance you must reapply every year. The deadline to apply for financial assistance is Friday, January 15. You may apply for financial assistance by filling out the Parent Financial Statement (PFS) at the School and Student Services (SSS) Website, which is linked to the button below and on the “Tuition and Financial Assistance Page” of our website, under the “Admissions” tab. This process does take time so please make sure you are working on it now as the deadline is right after we return from break.
Finally, we will be hosting our second admission’s open house on Saturday, January 8, from 10 AM to 12 PM. You may find more sign up info at our open house page by clicking the button below. Please help us spread the word about our schools.
I hope everyone has a restful and enjoyable winter break and I look forward to seeing everyone in the new year! Go Huskies!

Warmly,

Amy Hollinger

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
In addition to the professional development training that the faculty and staff have embarked on with Monique Marshall collectively, a handful of staff attended the annual NAIS People of Color Conference in conjunction with students that attended the Student Diversity Leadership Conference. This year’s theme was “Reckoning with Impacts, Rolling with Just Intent,” and focused on a common thread of belonging. These multicultural gatherings equip both adults and students alike with skills and strategies to develop a foundation of allyship and community.

We’d like to share a resource for talking to young children about race and identity adapted from raceconscious.org, with helpful strategies on how to engage children with conversations about difference. We extend our best wishes to you this holiday season and for a safe and healthy new year.
