New student orientation welcomes incoming students to 2024 winter intake
Coast Mountain College (CMTN) opened its doors to a new batch of domestic and international students at the Terrace and Prince Rupert campuses on January 5.
College staff gave students a guided tour of different locations on campus, which included meeting with key staff such as Learning Assistance Specialists and the Enrolment Services Team. Towards the end of their orientation, new international students attended a session held by International Student Advisors Johannita Mills-Beale and Ozzy Netto, covering the Terrace and Prince Rupert campuses, respectively. The students were briefed on Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) requirements and academic expectations, and were given tips on how to succeed at CMTN and in Northwest BC.
A warm welcome to our batch of new students!
