"Trust in the Lord with all
your heart, and lean not on
your own understanding."
~Proverbs 3:5~

Dear Friends:
Knowledge is power! We have an amazing free training opportunity to share with you that is being offered by Safe Families, joined by Sara Schnake: Bringing The Protective Factors Framework to Life in Your Work.
Protective Factors are the foundation of the Strengthening Families Approach: parental resilience, social connections, concrete support in times of need, knowledge of parenting and child development, and social and emotional competence of children. This training is perfect for any parent or professional who wants to know more about how to build protective factors in their lives and expand their parenting or knowledge "toolbox".
This training will be held at the Elkhorn Area Middle School on April 23, 2022, from 9am-3pm for session one, and again on April 30, 2022 for session two. Visit the Sign Up Link here to get registered, or email volunteer@safefamilieswi.org with any questions!

Please join us in praising Him for:
~An amazing orientation with the girls! We are so excited to walk alongside them and be apart of their journey to healing!
~The ongoing prayer and financial support of our ministry.
~The healing we are continuing to see throughout our staff, thank you for your prayers!

Please also join us in prayer for:
~The hearts of the girls and their families, as they await the opening of the girl's program in less than 2 weeks, on January 22!
~Preparing the hearts of our staff, as we approach the time to open the girls' school and home. That we remain united, continue to grow together, and keep Christ at the center of our ministry.
~God's continued healing hand upon our staff. We are still fighting some battles and would be so grateful for your prayers! We know that He is good always and He is working!
Blessings,
Christen

4 of the girls at
Orientation with our
House Mom, Sherry

One of the girls brought a cake... and this was captured as it tipped over...

They enjoyed the evening and left with a sense
of comfort in getting to know each other and become familiar with our space... join us in continued prayer for the transition for these
girls into Agape House...
