The salad bar offers many vegetarian and gluten-free options. A protein is served every other week and alternates between steak and chicken .

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Last week we had our annual Wine Tasting and Trivia by our very own First Vice President, Jeanne Maron, owner of The Gifted Cork. We had a good friendly competition and I think that we all learned something. Thank you, Jeanne for hosting and giving everyone a Gifted Cork glass.

We are approaching the holiday season. Check out the calendar and get signed up for the great events that we have coming up. Get your tickets for the Speakeasy Raffle, sponsor a kid for Christmas Kids, and book your Holiday Party tickets.

Hopefully you all stayed dry from Tropical Storm Nicole. This week we welcome Joanne Connell from the Jacksonville Equestrian Center.

MONTHLY GOLF OUTING

Join us for our monthly outing at Hidden Hills Golf Club!

Our 6,892-yard public golf course at Hidden Hills Country Club was previously the site of the Greater Jacksonville Open, a tournament that eventually evolved into what is now the TPC Sawgrass. Among winners at our course were Gary Player, Tony Jacklin and Don January.

It’s now an Arnold Palmer Signature layout, known for its intriguing curves and contours and rolling fairways, a setting that you don’t often find in Florida. Our fairways are lined with majestic pines and oaks; our lush greens have won a name for Hidden Hills in North Florida.

Due to Hurricane Nicole, the Veteran's Day Parade was cancelled this year. We would like to say a heartfelt thank you for all who participated and volunteered their time.

CHRISTMAS KIDS SHOPPING SPREE

Please join us for our annual Christmas Kids Shopping spree providing gifts for children who may not have a home for Santa to visit. This great event is one of our most heartwarming all year where we take approximately 30 kids Christmas Shopping with $150 to spend on each. Target brings us in prior to opening to secure the building and present a safe environment where SBMC Members help brighten their holiday.

Please help us make this holiday special and sponsor a child or two for $150 each.
