President's Message: WKU Innovation Campus Continues Growth
Dear Colleagues,

Expanding access to hands-on learning and research opportunities and continuing to grow our sponsored research and extramural funding remain core tenets of WKU’s mission. To aid in these endeavors, we spent the last five years transforming our Center for Research and Development into a true headquarters for our Innovation Campus - furthering educational and future employment opportunities for our students while also growing the economic strength and diversity of the communities we serve.

As an important link between WKU and regional businesses, the Innovation Campus continues its work to develop a talent pipeline for the region’s growing technology, manufacturing, automotive and logistics industries while reinforcing Bowling Green’s position as the connective tissue between Louisville and Nashville. Businesses and organizations, such as Holley Performance Products, the Metals Innovation Initiative (MI2), Logan Aluminum, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Kentucky to the World, AccelerateKY and the University of Southern California, all established a presence at our Innovation Campus during the past two years.
