*A word about Candle lighting and Mincha on Friday nights over the summer ... We are, of course, aware that Shabbat is coming in later and later, which in turn makes it challenging for some. As with last summer, we will therefore conduct our tephillot during this time as follows: Between Pesach and Shavuot, we will call Mincha for 20 minutes after Candle-lighting time as opposed to the regular 25 minutes. From Shavuot until the end of the summer, we will reinstitute "Early Shabbat" where we welcome Shabbat in earlier in the evening altogether. Some of these Early Shabbatot will include - as with last year - a waffle and ice cream bar and jumping castles for the kids.
