Hard copies of the Tapestry will be available to those who do not receive the Tapestry electronically at Community Connections at Findley Lake in their office in the Community Center. These will be available from 10am to 3pm Monday-Friday.

Veterans were honored

at the

Annual Veterans' Dinner

Findley Lake Nature Trails Network honored our military veterans at their Annual Veterans' Dinner on Sunday, Nov. 5th, 2023. There were 36 reservations and another 8 people joined in to make a total of 44 in attendance. The room was festive, decorated with red, white, and blue tablecloths and sparkly centerpieces. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy, dinner rolls and homemade desserts were served. Coffee, tea and water donated by Findley Lake Insurance Company were available to quench the guests’ thirst. The Nature Trails Network Board of Trustees and volunteers dished the feast onto plates which were served individually by our local Boy Scout Troop. The food was delicious. Many attendees complimented the meal. After the dinner the guests were encouraged to visit the Historical Society down the hall to enjoy the newest exhibit.
