CPS COVID-19 Quarantine & Vaccination Policy Update
Our highest priority at Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is ensuring the health and safety of our students and staff. Effective Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the isolation period is decreasing to five days for people who are asymptomatic. The chart above provides an overview of the revised CPS Quarantine Policy.
We know that widespread vaccination provides us with the best possible opportunity to bring an end to this pandemic. This measure increases safety for employees against infection and severe illness, and helps give families and communities confidence in the safety of our schools.
Although COVID-19 vaccination remains effective in preventing severe disease, hospitalization, and death, recent data suggests that vaccines become less effective over time at preventing infection or milder illness, especially in people aged 65 and older. We will now ensure that people have “Up-to-Date” COVID vaccinations. Public health authorities define “Up-to-Date” COVID vaccination as the completion of a primary vaccination series AND booster when eligible. A person is “Up-to-Date” once they are two weeks past all primary vaccine doses and any applicable boosters (see below).

Support Suder Our Cheerleaders
Suder’s Cheerleading team is currently seeking donations for their competition held on February 26th, 2022. We are hopeful that you will consider this opportunity to donate to our event. Due to falling short on time between holidays, breaks, and remote learning, we did not have enough time to fundraise as usual. Therefore, we asked the parents of the cheering family to help with a fee. After collecting fees from cheer families to cover minimum cheer gear, we realized that our cheer team still needs funding. As requested by the cheer team, we would like to purchase warmups and attach our school’s name logo to our uniforms for the competition.
Our cheerleaders are working very hard despite the little time we have before the competition. As their cheer coaches, we are proud of our recent work to motivate, encourage and expose our young ladies to new things. Our mission is to provide the girls with all needed cheer necessities, which is why our funding goal is $1500. As a community, we are calling on you. None of our efforts would be possible without the help of donors, volunteers, and supportive members like you. At this point, we rely entirely on community support.
Suder cheer team accepts any form of donation.

None of our efforts would be possible without the help of donors, volunteers, and supportive members like you. At this point, we rely entirely on community support. Suder coaches and cheer team greatly thank you for your consideration and generosity. We know that together we shall win and succeed in the end!

COVID Vaccination Card Submission
In order for students to report to school after being identified as a close contact to someone with COVID-19, we must have their vaccination card on file. Please complete the form below and upload a CLEAR IMAGE of your student's COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card after they have been fully vaccinated, to be included with their health and immunization records. You must be signed into Google to upload the image. The best way to upload the image is to login using the student's CPS Google account.
Note: Fully vaccinated means two weeks after their second dose.
