Hospice Memorial Service

On November 22nd Hospice Services hosted the Annual Memorial Service at Celebrations in Lindsay. It was a well-attended event and very meaningful for those who sought to remember and honour their loved ones who have died. Original music was written and performed by local artist Bill Dickinson. During the reading of the names, Hospice Volunteer Shirley Park shared her musical talents by playing the harp. As with last year, participants were invited to write the names of their loved ones on a paper leaf and place it on a lighted birch tree branch as part of the evening’s ceremonies. After the service, many enjoyed a cup of tea and shared a visit.

Hospice Services is here to help. When you reach out to us, you will find a comforting place, specialized programs and highly trained people to help transform hurt into hope. Visit our website or call us at 705-324-7323 ext 550 to learn more about our Hospice Services.
