Mother's Day in Israel is celebrated on March 21st. New Vision Church from Murfreesboro, TN partnered with FON to hold a Mother's Day Event for our NBS 2nd graders and their moms. Thank you New Vision and the second grade teachers for your hard work in this celebration!

"For the third year since our partnership together, New Vision Baptist Church has served alongside Friends of Nazareth to support NBS’s Mother’s Day Program. The fourteen-person team spent months preparing and training for their time in the Holy Land.

All NBS second grade families are invited to the Mother’s Day program where the children prepared songs, a craft, and sweet message to honor their mothers. A guest speaker also shared an encouraging message of Gospel truth. We pray fruit from this event includes community-building among moms, questions about who Jesus is, and acceptance of the Gospel.

Due to the program’s popularity with NBS families, it is often talked about all-year long and anticipated by younger-grade families. Since the first year of the program, it has now grown to two separate events on individual evenings. As a ministry partner, New Vision looks forward to this project every year and considers it an honor to serve and pray for these NBS families.

Friends of Nazareth was excited to host the FON Ambassadors SEJ March 21-April 1. Ambassador Chair David Pierce gathered a great team from multiple churches, states, and backgrounds. This group saw the land, enjoyed the food, learned about the culture, and embraced the vision of NBS. Multiple opportunities to the same are scheduled for this fall, for 2024, and beyond. Come and see!
