Retreat Day Tomorrow!

Xavier's annual Retreat Day is tomorrow (Friday, April 21). Freshmen will be attending the Respect Retreat in the Torchy Gym. Sophomores through seniors will be at various locations throughout the area.

Here's what parents need to know:

1) Retreat Day is mandatory. Students who miss the day are required to make up 7 hours of faith formation at various parish events in April and May - these are evenings and weekends.

2) Please make sure your student is on time. Retreat buses will be leaving shortly after 8. All students will be back before 3. (Spring sports athletes with early dismissals will be back in time for their dismissals)

3) All students should bring a bag lunch and drink. No food orders will be allowed. Students were given the option of ordering a bag lunch earlier in the week from our food service program.

4) Casual attire is appropriate. Students know their retreat topic and whether they will be spending time outdoors. Please help us to remind the students that leggings and short shorts are never school-appropriate.

5) Students who attended the March for Life, Rome Pilgrimage, Kairos Retreat or Courts for Kids this school year are exempt from the day and do not need to report to school tomorrow.

Xavier Spirit Week Leading Up to Xavier Day

There are so many great things going on at Xavier Catholic Schools, we need more than just one day to celebrate with our Xavier family. Each campus will be highlighted one day before we all come together on Xavier Day on April 28. On Monday, April 24 we will showcase Xavier Elementary School- Marquette St, Xavier Elementary School- McDonald St will be featured on Tuesday, Xavier Middle School will be highlighted on Wednesday, Xavier High School on Thursday, and finishing the week is “Xavier Day” on Friday when we celebrate the entire System!

Watch social media to see the fun activities! Check the Xavier Day event page for a complete schedule of the week.

Food Trucks & Fun! On April 28, join us in front of Xavier High School from 4:00 – 6:30 pm for On the Fritz and Zoua’s Fresh Egg Rolls food trucks, Reynebeau cookies will be available for purchase, a photo booth, visit with Frankie the Hawk, and fun activities. Complete your Xavier Day by purchasing tickets to attend the Xavier High School spring musical; Spin Decades, the show's final performance is at 7:00 pm on Xavier Day.

Final Call for Make Your Mark Signs. Unfortunately, the deadline for new sign purchases has passed, but if you purchased a Make Your Mark yard sign in recent years, you can still renew your sign to be displayed at the campus of your choice all next week. Follow the link above to the Xavier Day event page and make your renewal online (click on the “Make Your Mark Signs” tab for instructions).
