"Widening the Circle Through Covenant"
Reverend Jaimie Dingus
10:45 AM, Sunday, Feb 20
In her book The Art of Gathering, Priya Parker writes, "In a world of infinite choices, choosing one thing is the revolutionary act. Imposing that restriction is actually liberating.”
That is to say, setting group expectations and being clear about who and how we are can be an expression of radical love and welcome. Let’s explore how our covenant can be a source of freedom and love within our community.

Happy News! Return to In-Service Worship
Friends, the UUCH Board continues to monitor the Covid-19 situation in our community closely. As case numbers and hospitalizations have rapidly decreased, your leaders feel it is safe to return to our multi-platform (Online and In-Person) way of worshipping sooner than expected! All are welcome to join Rev. Jaimie and the worship team for an in-person service on Sunday, February 27th. Please wear your mask the whole time, and space yourselves out within the sanctuary. If you are feeling sick, have had close contact with someone who is Covid Positive, or just would prefer to take on less personal risk, please join us via our live stream!
Looking forward to seeing many of you in person on February 27th!

Virtual Service Auction Bidding has Opened!
Thanks to all the UUCH members and friends who have created events and offered valued items and/or services as donations for our Winter 2022 Virtual Service Auction.
Bidding on those auction items opened at midnight this past Sunday morning, February 13 at charityauction.bid/uuch.
It's never too late to donate! Given the span for bidding, we will continue to accept donations even after the auction is open for bids. Contact Stewardship chair Dan McKitrick at stewardship@uuch.org, or committee members Bryan Walls, Ed Bernstein, and Lynda Lamitie at stewardship.committee@uuch.org if you have any questions about that.
Remember, donated services and events not only raise money for UUCH's General Fund, they generate Fellowship between donors and the winning bidders--a Service ever needed when Zoom is our mainstay and large gatherings are constrained by COVID-19 concerns. The current UUCH COVID-19 policy for meeting indoors allows "up to 15 people, unmasked with group consensus," and you will find that larger events offered in our auction this year are outdoors.

New UU Class
New UU Class
February 26th and March 5th
10:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
What does it mean to be a Unitarian Universalist? Join Rev. Jaimie, the Adult Religious Education Committee, and the Membership Committee as we offer a two-part series that explores important themes in UU congregational life.
We will discuss our worship and theology, history, covenant and polity, faith development, social justice, and membership. This program is particularly focused on introducing newcomers to UUCH, but those of you who have been here for a while will also be able to share and connect with others as we explore our own beliefs and how they intersect with the UU tradition. Everyone is welcome!
Mark your calendars now for the Saturday mornings of February 26th and March 5th
10:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. for this chance to learn, to share, and to be together. We will meet via Zoom, so we ask people to register so we can prepare for the number of participants. Contact Adult.RE@uuch.org to register or if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you there!
