For many economically-disadvantaged residents in our community, IMPACT 211 serves as a critical lifeline to stabilizing resources such as food pantries and meal sites; eviction prevention and subsidized rental housing; energy assistance and utility payment assistance; mental health crisis intervention and substance use disorder services; free and low-cost health and dental care; and much more.
Poverty is nothing new but we're taking a different approach to address socioeconomic conditions such as poverty and the stressful conditions that accompany it. IMPACT Connect, southeastern Wisconsin's community information exchange, harnesses the power of cross-sector collaboration and data sharing to improve our region's collective health and well-being. We're part of a nationwide movement that is driving systems change through advanced care coordination that targets social determinants of health, enhances resource navigation, and ensures equity for those we serve.
