ABA-approved program to meet growing workforce demand in an evolving industry
The market for paralegals is thriving: the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which tracks and extrapolates job growth, predicts that the paralegal field will grow by 12% through 2028.
GW’s new Bachelor of Arts in Paralegal Studies, offered by GW’s College of Professional Studies, will prepare students to enter this field by giving them the means to earn bachelor’s degrees. The program is ideal for community college graduates seeking to enter the industry, professionals looking to grow their careers, and those who plan to attend law school.

How Can We Renew Bipartisanship? |

What can be done to counter the increasingly polarized political climate in the United States? A GW panel of experts discussed the urgent political need to embrace bipartisanship at the annual Frank J. Fahrenkopf and Charles T. Manatt Endowed Lecture at the George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) last month.
The talk, “Renewing Bipartisanship: Making Washington Work Again,” was combined with the GSPM’s alumni achievement awards ceremony.

GW Team Wins Students Reinventing Cities Competition |
|
Congratulations to the GW team for winning the Students Reinventing Cities competition, led by second year Sustainable Urban Planning student Joy McFadden. The Ivy City Renaissance Project team also consisted of three undergraduate GW students and two graduate students from Pantheon-Sorbonne University in Paris.
The GW team competed in the global Students Reinventing Cities competition for students to share their vision for green & thriving city neighborhoods.

CPS Adds Product Management to Its List of Boot Camps
Since 2017 CPS has been offering short-term non-credit boot camps in a variety of subject matters in collaboration with 2U/edX. The latest addition to the list is the Product Management Boot Camp which will be launched on March 31, 2022.

The M.P.S. in Publishing program at George Washington University is launching the GW Publishing Book Club, a space where publishing students, alumni, faculty, and publishing community members will read and discuss titles on the history of the book, the history of publishing, and similar topics.
