2023 Remarkable Women

While there has been significant progress for advancing women's rights and interests, there is still much that can be done.

Last month was National Women’s History Month and TBS celebrated by asking for nominations of a "Remarkable Woman" who should be recognized for demonstrating qualities that inspire other women, young ladies, or girls.

First, we appreciate everyone who participated in this year's call for nominations and for submitting an article describing a woman who inspired them. From the nominations received, it was very difficult selecting one. Therefore, TBS decided to select three women as TBS' Remarkable Woman for 2023.

Coach Jenny Kuske, Ms. Amy Lynn, and Reverend Bernice Cababat were selected as TBS' 2023 Remarkable Woman for demonstrating their faith in God, leadership, and selfless acts of kindness. They not only inspired the individuals who nominated them, they inspired others on a girls basketball team, elementary school students, parishioners -- respectively -- and certainly, others around them.

Congratulations, Ms. Kuske, Ms. Lynn, and Rev. Cababat for inspiring others, especially girls, young ladies, and women that they too can be Remarkable Women in their workplaces and communities.

In the spirit of honoring Women, please join us by reaching out to a Female figure in your life, tell them how much they are appreciated and why they are so remarkable.
