How to Build Your Brand Using Insight, Identity & Innovation
Kristin has an accomplished career in both upstream and downstream marketing. Her perspective comes from working across a wide range of industries, including consumer and luxury goods, financial services, technology, automotive, healthcare/biotech, publishing, real estate, and for an array of non-profits. She has extensive experience working with both B2B and B2C companies. Kristin co-founded EquiBrand Consulting, helping clients from venture-backed startups to Fortune 100 companies strategize, plan and launch integrated brand-building initiatives. Her focus is on creating brand-driven profitable growth.
She recently co-authored the new business book: Upstream Marketing: Unlock Growth Using the Combined Principles of Insight, Identity, and Innovation, in which she shares best practices, research, and case studies informed by her over twenty years of experience building strong brands.
Kristin has a BBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with specialization in marketing, finance, and economics.
She is an adjunct professor of marketing in the undergraduate and graduate programs of the School of Economics and Business Administration at St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California. Kristin has also guest lectured extensively at top MBA programs including Stanford Graduate School of Business, Haas Business School at University of California Berkeley, Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and the University of Chicago’s Booth School of business.

Lafayette Business Women
A women-led business group. Shared experiences, contributed knowledge and skills, networking and collaboration opportunities. Empowering female entrepreneurs to build successful businesses.
Meeting once a month, typically the third Wednesday of the month, the group plans to meet at member locations throughout Lafayette at varying times from breakfast, bunch/lunch to happy hour and evening hours. Help us plan future events, take our survey!

"Coffee" with Lafayette School District Superintendent Dr. Stephens will be held via Zoom on April 21 at 8am. This is an opportunity our business community and members to ask questions that they’ve been wanting to ask regarding enrollment projections, demographic trends, early and late dismissals, ways to engage in school events, support of musical and theatre performances, updates on busing and school schedules effecting downtown traffic, the SWELL program being offered over the summer, etc. Sign up for the Zoom link at https://lafayettechamber.org/coffee.

Ribbon Cutting at Pedego Electric Bikes Lafayette
Pedego Electric Bikes Lafayette along with the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the opening of their new store on Plaza Way with a Ribbon Cutting event on Sunday, April 23rd. Vice Mayor Gina Dawson will be in attendance to speak and represent the City of Lafayette.
The public is invited to come celebrate the Grand Opening. Please join us in the celebration of our new store opening in Lafayette, Pedego Electric Bikes Lafayette! There will be snacks, giveaways, and free test rides.

Lafayette Art & Wine Festival 2023
The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce is proud to present our 26th annual premier community event showcasing the downtown business corridor.
Funds raised from this event enable the Chamber to provide our businesses and community at large with a variety of important services, program offerings, engagement, and resources throughout the year. We are also able to give back to our festival beneficiaries including Lafayette Partners in Education, many of the local school organizations and other participating non-profits. The Lafayette Police Department offers a Citizens' Police Academy to provide residents (over age 21) with the opportunity to learn how the police department functions. The program uses a mix of lecture and hands-on experiences including a “ride-along” with an officer.
