The PG Kids choir is “baa-aa-aack” with a musical that's sure to get you in the Christmas spirit!
You're Invited
This Friday, Dec 2 & Saturday, Dec 3
5:45 pm- Preshow by Preschool Choir
6:00 pm- Musical Begins
| It’s a zoo out here! Bethlehem’s homes and inns may be bursting at the seams with travelers for the census, but because of the animals they brought with them, the stable is simply out of control. Camels, donkeys and goats up to the rafters! Even the normally-sleepy hillsides are now teeming with an abundance of sheep, and Bethlehem’s top temp agency must call on their most eager but often-inept family of workers, the Wooltons to step up and answer the call (temporary “staffing” takes on a whole new meaning!). What they expect to be an unglamorous assignment will soon put them face to face with the angel Gabriel, a sky-full of the Heavenly Host, and ultimately the Good Shepherd himself – Jesus! |
Event is FREE. Community is Invited.
Invite your friends and neighbors too!
| |
Come along and help us brighten up the holidays for some of our neighbors. We will meet at the church, assemble into small groups, and then go to designated neighborhoods to spread the Christmas cheer! Afterward, we will meet back at the Fellowship Hall to enjoy some hot cocoa and sweet treats together. Additional details coming soon.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD RESULTS
Piney Grove Church Family,
We have exceeded our original goal of packing 1,200 shoeboxes. The total packed by individuals and at the packing parties as of Wed, Nov 23rd, is 1,559 boxes. GOD is so awesome and continues to bless us as we bless others. Thank you to everyone who provided donated items for the packing parties, gave money for shipping ($6,997), handmade items, prayed, and gave encouragement throughout the year. Please continue to pray for the journey of the shoeboxes and the children who will receive the opportunity to know Jesus through this ministry. Piney Grove, you are the best!!

FLEECE FABRIC NEEDED
Our youth will be putting together no-sew tie fleece blankets for the homeless. They will be distributing these blankets in downtown Raleigh in January, and we need FLEECE FABRIC cut in 2 yards. Please bring donations to the student building or the church office. If you prefer to donate a gift card to Joann Fabrics that would be great as well.
