County, City of Wilmington sign historic sewer agreement
New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer and Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki celebrated the signing of a historic agreement between the city and county on sewage treatment on Tuesday morning. County Executive joins officials for tour of new Wegman's
New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer joined state and local officials to tour the new Wegman's under construction in Barely Mill Plaza on Friday morning, May 27th. The grocery chain promises the store will be open in the Fall, but doesn't have a date set yet. The store will be their first in Delaware and the ninth state they'll enter. Platinum Picnic returns in-person after COVID-19 hiatus
New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer kicked off the return of the Platinum Picnic at the Hockessin PAL on Wednesday morning. The annual seniors event for those 55+ was last held in 2019 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the picnic's 71st year. To see video from the event, CLICK HERE.
County raises LGBT flags in recognition of Pride Month
New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer joined state and local officials to raise LGBT flags at the County Government Center in recognition of Pride Month on Thursday morning.
