Michael Maurino named Executive Director
The Westshore Alliance Board of Directors has appointed Michael Maurino as the organization’s Executive Director, following the retirement of executive director Ann Kulig. Westshore Alliance Master Plan Committee working on Overlay District changes
The Westshore Alliance Master Plan Committee is planning a series of amendments to the Westshore Overlay District that will continue to improve the District’s transportation network and aesthetics, while supporting additional development that preserves existing single-family neighborhoods from adverse impacts.

The committee has discussed the addition of several streets to the Overlay District, which would require new development to meet new pedestrian friendly standards. Other changes would be based on common requests of property owners in the district so that the overlay standards are compatible with current development concepts.

The Westshore Alliance will conduct a series of meetings later this year to gather feed back from Westshore businesses and residents. If you are interested in participating in in the amendment process or joining the committee, email us.
