“This year the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce will join the Association of Washington Businesses (AWB) in their Legislative Day in Olympia. Why do we go to Olympia each year? We do this on your behalf, representing the voices of our local businesses and their concerns. When elected officials see people have taken time out of their busy schedules, they know these issues are important. It will be a full day of meetings with elected officials, including transportation once parked in Olympia, lunch, and an evening reception. We will plan to carpool from Gig Harbor, and I hope you can join us.” ~ Miriam Battson, President/CEO. 

Pre-session zoom: Registration is open for AWB’s pre-session zoom meeting with our Government Affairs team. Our issue-area experts will preview all the issues that matter for employers, from tax and employment law to environmental and transportation during this Jan. 4 webinar at 10 a.m.  

There will be plenty of time to ask questions during this members-only event. Bring your concerns and ideas.
