Jesus said, "I Am the Vine, You Are the Branches."
Devotion of the Week: We did it! We made it to the end of the 141st school year at St. Peter Lutheran. We have been blessed to teach children about Jesus every day this year and every day for the last 141 years. There are lots of great memories from this school year that will be remembered for years to come, but we pray that our students and families will remain connected to the most important part of our school: Jesus! Through Him we have the forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life with Him. No matter what this year presented us with, that reminder has remained our one and only constant, and what a blessing it has been. May God continue to bless our St. Peter family throughout these summer months as we stay connected to God's Word and as we remain focused on Christ, our Vine.
Retirements
Thank You Mr. Bob: Mr. Bob Weiskirch has been one of our custodians for the last few years and he is retiring today, June 3. We are thankful for his work keeping our school looking great and for always going above and beyond with his duties. His friendliness with the faculty, staff, and students will be missed. He has been known as “Mr. Bob” to our students who enjoy seeing him daily. God's blessings to him in retirement!

Sharon Raasch: We are very thankful for Sharon’s 15 years of dedicated service to our congregation, and we pray God’s blessings on her in her retirement. On June 5, there will be a card box in the narthex of the church to share your appreciation for Sharon Raasch.
Quote of the Week
"As a parent, I can’t think of anything to be more thankful for than the people that have spent time guiding our children, helping them build a good foundation in their spiritual and educational journey, forgiving them for mistakes, and genuinely caring about them.  I am so thankful God put St. Peter Lutheran School and Church in our family’s life."
-Comment from Mrs. Becky Swanson, parent of one of our graduating 8th graders.
2022-2023 School Year
2022-2023 School Year: Now that we have completed our 21-22 school year, we are starting to plan for our new school year. We hope you have an enjoyable summer.

Registration Day: Our registration day will take place on Thursday, August 11 from 4:00-6:30pm. More details will be given throughout the summer on our registration procedures.

Welcome Back to Unpack & Information Night: In an effort to allow our students and parents to meet with their teacher before the school year, we will again combine our Welcome Back to Unpack and Information Night. This will take place on Monday, August 22 from 6:00-8:00pm. More details will be provided later this summer.

First Day of School: Our first day of school for the 2022-2023 school year will be Wednesday, August 24.
Field Day 2022
Field Day: Our Superhero Field Day was a huge success even though we had to stay indoors due to the rain. Our team captains did a wonderful job leading their team to an assortment of superhero events. Teams chose their own team name, team colors, and a team logo. Thank you to all of the parent volunteers helping to make it a fun afternoon. Special thanks to Brinley Sullivan for making tie-die shirts for her team named the Super Tacos! The pictures taken were from the Incredible Hulk event. All team members had to smile and flex in order to earn points!

This has to be done first in order to gain access to the system. Thank you for your help and patience as we learn and utilize this new system. Please contact Eric Hagenow with any questions.
VBS: G’day, mate! Are you ready for this trip of a lifetime as we zoom off to Australia for VBS 2022? VBS will take place July 11-15 from 9:00am—11:30am. For more information go to: http://www.stpeterhemlock.org/vbs.
Financial Matters: Please note that negative balances in all accounts (book fees, tuition, lunch, SPLASH/BSC, Child Care/Toddler Care) must be paid in order to receive your child's report card. You may check Fast Direct or contact the school office for balance information.
