Tracy graduated along with 88% men from the US Air Force Academy with a coveted appointment from President George H.W. Bush. She entered less than a decade after women commissioned--and graduated before women were even authorized to fly combat aircraft. Lieutenant Colonel LaTourrette retired after 22 years while serving as the Deputy Director of Operations at the Colorado National Guard’s Joint Force Headquarters.

Well, that was quite a summer real estate market! Huge year over year valuation gains, bidding wars and lower than low levels of inventory. At one point there were even more NAR members than listings!

However, things do appear to be cooling off a bit and leveling out in many areas. But that doesn’t mean that the inventory shortage (and increased competition) is going to just disappear. It will mostly likely be more of a slow fade. Then again, maybe not. Predicting and timing markets is a tricky business, and hardly an exact science.

For example, your seller may have a 500-acre property for sale that can be subdivided into smaller 100-acre lots, which may expand your pool of potential buyers. As the listing agent, you may want to market the full 500-acre property as well as the smaller parcels without having to enter a listing for each option.
