Hello PJ Families!

June is here and we couldn't be more excited! This is one of our favourite months at PJ Library Calgary as we get to welcome back our annual Popsicles in the Park event! We can't wait to see you in person to kick off summer and spend time together outdoors!

PJOW families please remember to go to your accounts and choose your books by the 10th of the month. Parents of children who are 8½ and older can now activate their children's accounts at pjourway.org.

Please remember to email us if your family has moved. It takes about six weeks for an address change to be processed. And as always, we want to know if there is a new family who we should welcome to PJ Library, or if you have added a baby to yours.

Your Shavuot celebration this year will be made much easier with these go-to tips.

How does food help answer the very complicated question, “Where are we from?

We asked experienced summer camp parents and counselors for a list of their overnight camp must-haves.

Do you have a favorite picture book? It’s easy (and fun) to use favorite stories to share Jewish values with your family.
In this month's picks, a girl tries to sabotage her own bat mitzvah, a group of kids search for aliens in their own town, an older sister gets a big surprise in 1920s Poland, and a dog celebrates Jewish holidays with his new family. Pick your book by the 10th!

Did you choose The Blackbird Girls in May? Inspired by Anne Blankman's book, two PJ Our Way kids are inspired to illustrate scenes from the story and create journal entries written from the characters' perspective. Check out their work in this creative showcase!

In addition to getting monthly books in the mail, PJ Our Way subscribers can now download free audiobooks all month long from our frequently updated collection on Overdrive!
