As deductibles and copays reset in the new year, some patients may struggle to pay for the high cost of medications prescribed by their doctors. Prescription discount cards can help patients be compliant in their care.

SingleCare works directly with pharmacies to negotiate up to 80% off prescription prices. Patients can search for the medication on the website or app to compare pharmacy prices, then get a free coupon card for discounts.

GoodRx works similar to SingleCare with the pharmacy discount price comparison. Patients can also request a discount pharmacy card to show at the pharmacy for discounts (good for patients with limited/no internet access nor smartphone).

The programs are available to patients with or without health insurance.
