As we approach the end of the tax year, please make your contribution to the 2023-2024 Moraga Education Giving Campaign today!

While MEF's community-funded grants have remained flat over the last five years, costs have dramatically increased. To maintain the purchasing power of the 2019 $2.425M MEF grant, MEF would need to raise enough money this year to be able to grant $3M to our schools next year.

The school districts begin their budgeting for the next school year in January based on the Governor's Proposed Budget that will come out then and MEF's estimate of its upcoming grant.

As you have seen in both local and national news, the state of California faces a record $68 Billion budget deficit, and this will certainly impact school funding.

This means that the funds we collect as a community through the Moraga Education Foundation will be more important than ever.
