The Glades Initiative Pantry of Choice Hours
We hope that the flexibility of our new “Pantry of Choice” hours helps us to serve you better. You may come to shop in the pantry once per week at any time during open hours. In a “Pantry of Choice”, you choose the foods that you want and need (within guidelines)! Food will no longer be distributed outside.
Required to participate:
• Valid ID or your Glades Initiative Food Pantry ID
• ONE time per week
WHEN: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
- 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Tuesday)
- 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Wednesday)

Palm Beach County Food Finder Map
An interactive tool using Google Maps to help people easily locate free food and hot meals in Palm Beach County. This online tool was created to connect individuals seeking food resources to sites near them. Information is English, Spanish, and Creole. United Way updates the information listed on this map weekly. However, locations and hours of distribution may change. Please consider calling the site prior to visiting to verify the information listed. Please note that sites may have specific requirements such as ID.

Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies November 2021 Educational Calendar
Small Steps Great Parents workshops are for pregnant women and new families. Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies provides free hands-on education programs for parents and their support partners through our Small Steps Great Parents program. The class instructors are community partners or certified Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies staff.

FCC: 'You May Have to Add an Area Code to Dial Out'
Seven-digit dialing is out, 10-digit dialing is in. As of Sunday, callers in 82 area codes across 35 states and one U.S. territory now are required to use their three-digit area code before punching in the seven-digit phone number when calling a local number, the Federal Communications Commission says.

If you or people you know need masks, The Glades Initiative has masks and will share them with anyone in the Glades who needs them. These are the white two-ply reusable washable masks given by the health department. Call or come by to pick them up as long as supplies last.
If you are with a group of vulnerable people and need more than 20, call us first and we will do our best to help you get what you need.

From Joseph Abruzzo, PBC Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller: "For the past decade, our team has been a leader in guardianship fraud investigations, from the launch of the Guardianship Integrity Assurance Hotline in 2011 that allowed people to anonymously report possible cases of fraud in guardianship cases, to the creation of an online reporting system for guardians that was recently highlighted by a statewide task force for potential use throughout Florida."
