Mrs. Angela Knox is an Executive Assistant for Renaye James Healthcare Advisors (RJHA). She joined the team in July 2021. Angela serves as an essential resource to connect our team, coordinate events, and manage the RJHA headquarters. She has 20+ years of experience working in the customer service industry including recruiting for Fortune 500 companies. Angela also volunteers for the Special Olympics. In her downtime, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, especially her one-year-old grandson.
Mr. Jim Bobbit, Senior Advisor, Healthcare Leadership
James Bobbitt is a highly experienced healthcare consultant with over 25 years of leadership experience in health insurance and health care delivery systems in multiple U.S. markets. His past executive leadership includes Managed Care Organizations, FQHC's, Physician Practices, and Hospital Systems throughout the U.S.  His management experience in leading strategic transformational change initiatives and major system conversions, as well his outstanding communications skills makes him a trusted business partner with physician leadership.
Dr. Lynette Mundey, Senior Advisor, Practice Dr. Mundey embarked on her professional career in 1981, upon completion of a residency in Family Medicine at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.  Over the past 40 years, Dr Mundey has held a variety of positions in critical public health areas, such as Medical Director of MASS (Moving Addicts Towards Self Sufficiency) Clinic, Wash., D.C., and Medical Director of the D.C. Jail and the State of Maryland, Baltimore Region Department of Corrections. Over the years, Dr. Mundey has confirmed that human beings have basic needs regardless of their culture or socioeconomic status, one of them being the need to be cared for.  She is most proud of helping to fulfill unmet needs.

Ms. Felicia Denman, Director of Business Operations
Ms. Denman is a results-oriented and adaptive operations professional with over 20 years of experience in public administration and operations. At Renaye James Healthcare Advisors, Ms. Denman provides administrative, budget, and client services for the Renaye James Healthcare Advisors team. She ensures efficiencies of business operations and collaborates with the CEO to execute the strategic plans of the organization.

Ms. Denman has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in public administration. She is also a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force.

News from the Field
Federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) critical role in enabling equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines in marginalized communities. Overall, FQHCs allocated about 61% of their COVID-19 vaccine doses to people of color, compared to about 40% administered to racial and ethnic minorities in traditional clinics.

There are fewer COVID-19 deaths and infections in areas of the country where there is a Community Health Center. Health centers have been vaccinating people who have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic and have provided more than 19 million COVID-19 vaccinations, with over two in three shots at a health center administered to people of color.
Morehouse School of Medicine has invested in recruiting students of color with the intent of creating a medical workforce that better reflects the nation’s diversity and, prompted principles of health equity since its founding in 1975. Health equity is at the heart of Morehouse’s medical education curriculum and serves as one of the school’s main draws for aspiring medical professionals.

COVID-19 Fact Sheets – In English, Spanish, Russian, Korean, French, Chinese, and Amharic: The Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council (Home | Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council (md-council.org) and the Maryland Department of Health have released seven (7) COVID-19 fact sheets in plain language. The Council funded the development and design of the fact sheets to help people with disabilities get vaccines. The topics include high-risk health conditions, testing, monoclonal antibody treatment, vaccines, vaccines at home, vaccines for children, and booster shots.
