Register today for Winter Session and Spring Semester classes. Earn college credits in just 3 1/2 weeks by taking a course during RVCC’s Winter Session, December 21-January 13. Spring Semester classes start January 18.

Information Sessions

RVCC is holding a variety of Information Sessions in November, including special sessions focusing on the Honors College, Health & Technology programs, Automotive, and Medical Assistant programs. Registration is suggested for all Admissions events.
Free Educational Resources

RVCC continues to help students reduce their educational costs by providing free instructional materials in a growing number of classes. Since 2018, the use of free Open Educational Resources (OER) has saved RVCC students $3,076,844.19 in textbook costs.
Sanofi Corporate Mentor Program

Ten students have been selected for this year’s Sanofi Corporate Mentor Program at Raritan Valley Community College. The highly selective program, now in its sixth year, provides opportunities for RVCC students to participate in the Sanofi Mentee Academy and in Mentor/Mentee meetings to promote personal and professional growth.
River-Friendly Designation

The New Jersey Water Supply Authority has recertified RVCC as a “River-Friendly Business,” celebrating the College’s efforts to promote clean water and a healthy ecosystem in New Jersey’s Raritan River Basin.
Women’s Volleyball

The RVCC Women’s Volleyball team, led by Head Coach Phil Herro, had a terrific season, clinching the Garden State Athletic Conference Championship with a perfect 16-0 conference record. The team ended the season with an impressive 28-5 overall record and many, many highlights.
Juried Student Show

The Arts & Design department will present the 19th Annual RVCC Juried Student Art Exhibition, November 11-December 2, in the Art Gallery at the College’s Branchburg campus.
Backpack Awareness Day

RVCC’s Occupational Therapy Assistant students recently participated in Backpack Awareness Day at Bound Brook’s Lafayette Elementary School.
Society of Women Engineers

Members of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Collegiate Affiliate at RVCC presented their “How to Make Electricity” hands-on demonstration to more than 100 families during the Raritan Valley Science & Technology Showcase, held Oct 1 at Bridgewater Commons. Carrying simple copper coils, magnets, and several LED lights, the SWE members showed children how to make electricity by pulling the magnet through the coil of copper wire and causing the LED lights to illuminate.
Planetarium

The RVCC Planetarium is offering star shows and laser concerts for all ages in November.

The Theatre at RVCC’s upcoming performances include a show saluting the best of Broadway and rock & roll, as well as a holiday classic.
