30 Ways to Avoid a Commissionectomy

December 4th | 9am-12pm

As agents and brokers, we must be competent in completing the promulgated forms. While completing the forms it is the agent’s fiduciary duty to help their clients understand their options Often times, there are miscommunications between agents and their clients. To make transactions close smoothly, agents and brokers will offer part of their commission to make the deal work. In other words, a commission-ectomy occurs. This course will cover the problem places in the promulgated forms. By learning to set expectations and provide explanations, both the principals and their agents will be able to complete the transaction without having to make concessions.Worth 3 CE credit hours.

November 2023 YPN Lunch & Learn - VA Loans

Big THANK YOU to Rodger Horton from Benchmark Mortgage and LaNita Torres for presenting!

PSA FOR ALL AGENTS:

"NAR's Board of Directors approved a change to the Code of Ethics training requirement, extending it from every two years to every three years. This extends the current cycle deadline from March 1, 2022, to Dec. 31, 2024.

REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®.

Training may be completed through NAR’s online courses or through another method, such as online or classroom courses via local/state associations. Read the consequences for failing to complete Code of Ethics training."

PBBOR will be offering several opportunities throughout the year to satisfy this ethics training as well as gain credit hours!

We take your information very seriously! All credit card information is all stored on NAR's secure servers, NOT inside Navica
