Making a List,

and Checking it Twice...

Season Greetings!

Wrapping up 2023, here are a few assessment updates for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024!

  • As you work towards submitting your Fall 2023 Student Services assessment document, due Friday, December 15th, consider creating your own assessment checklist for updating services, training, or assessment processes in the upcoming semester based on your Fall 2023 assessment data and actions for improvement. Before submitting your assessment document, also take another look at the Pre-Submission Check to ensure each section of the assessment document is appropriately addressed.

  • Thank you for the great attendance and engagement in our Student Services Outcomes Charrettes this semester. We were delighted to have record- breaking participation from Student Services units for Fall 2023! Refocusing the charrettes this semester on the results and brainstorming ideas for future improvement based on feedback from the Student Services Experience Pulse was also well-received. So, we will continue with this approach in Spring 2024.

  • If you would like to continue to nurture a culture for continuous improvement within your unit or division, IAA has customizable in-person workshops available upon request!

  • Please reach out or schedule an appointment if you would like one-on-one support or have any lingering assessment questions.

It has been truly delightful to witness the evolution of your assessment processes.

Your efforts have not only heightened students' awareness of their development and learning but have also played a pivotal role in shaping improvements to our services and communication. This, in turn, has enhanced student engagement, met their needs more effectively, increased satisfaction, and optimized operational efficiency. I hope you all are as incredibly proud of the gains you have seen as I am.

Hope you do a little dance - even a backflip - for all you have accomplished this year, and I'll see you in 2024!

Happy Holidays!

Serena
