Storm Adventure Race - Spring Update
Greetings Adventure Racers,

I hope everyone had a great Easter Weekend that perhaps included a run, bike, or dare I say paddle?! Spring is certainly in the air and with the summer-like weather we've managed to test a few great sections of the 2023 course! For biking, expect a mix of paved road, gravel road, wider double-track and some super-fun and flowy single track trails! For the trekking sections we'll be traversing moraine-based hills and some stunning glacier-cut valleys, mostly on double & single track trails through a mix of pine, hemlock and open hardwood forests! The paddling will take place on a meandering river with a few swifts to keep things moving along and exciting! Wildlife sightings have been abundant, with deer, beaver and even a bald eagle being spotted!

I've been asked a few times if the difficulty level will vary much from years past and I can assure everyone we're aiming to provide an equally fun and equally challenging experience. To this end, we'll be having the course tested by a few past participants in the coming weeks and making any adjustments if warranted.

For those planning to register, tomorrow (Thursday August 13th, 2023) is the last day Regular Entry Fees will be available. After that time fees go up $15 per person and we enter the Late-Fee period with registration closing May 18th! Sign up at this link! Or click here to see a listing of teams registered to date.

Still on the fence, have a peek below at the cool new swag we've had designed for the event:
