THE EPIPHANY OF THE LORD
JOIN US FOR MASS THIS WEEKEND
Saturday at 5:00pm
Sunday at 9:00am
Sunday at 11:00am

PRACTICE OF CHARITY
The Magi were overjoyed when they saw the star. That joy took them out of the places they knew, sending them on a journey to unknown places. The joy we experience at the birth of Jesus should also take us out of our comfort zone. Pope Francis has called us to go out to those forgotten by society, the small places, like the one in which Jesus was born. Reflect on those times when you felt you were in darkness, and someone reflected the light of Christ for you. Is there someone who needs you to shed light in their life?
How To Bless Your Home for the Feast of the Epiphany
Traditionally, Catholics bless their home and those who live in their household on the Feast of the Epiphany each year. It’s not difficult to do. Here’s how

Please continue to self-screen. Stay home if you are not feeling well and celebrate Mass with us via livestream. We are doing our best to continue to provide a safe space to worship for everyone. Click here to see current COVID safety measures.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL MINISTRY
Thank you so much for your generous donations of food and gift cards to our St Vincent de Paul Christmas Baskets for our neighbors in need this Christmas. The request for Christmas baskets exceeded our supply, so we are in great need of donations to resupply our food pantry. If you are able to help by donating either financially through our website sjvkirkland.org/outreach/#st-vincent-de-paul, or by donating non-perishable food to help us re-stock the pantry, we would be extremely grateful. We couldn’t do this without you! Special thanks to those who volunteer for this ministry. If you are interested in volunteering with our St Vincent de Paul Chapter in service for our neighbors in need, please contact Susan at the SJV office.

OLIVE WOOD FROM BETHLEHEM
January 14-15 after all Masses
Olive wood carvings will be available for purchase. The proceeds support Christian Catholic families in the Holy Land. This is a major source of income for them. More than 75 families in Bethlehem Hand carved these beautiful and unique items (Nativities, Crucifixes, Rosaries, Statues). The Christian population in Bethlehem has dropped from 22% to less than 2% in the past two decades. And this is a way to support them to stay there. Thank you in advance for your support.
