Announcements

Supported Employment Provider Survey

Thank you to everyone who participated in our stakeholder meetings and provided input into the development of two new proposed Employment Benefits: Benefits Planning and Workplace Assistance. If you have not had an opportunity to participate in the stakeholder engagement process so far, you can find materials related to the development of these new benefits on the Supported Employment Meetings and Resources webpage.

As the next step in developing these new benefits, the Department is conducting a survey to collect information from potential providers to help inform our rate setting methodology. The survey will remain open through Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022.

Brain Injury Statewide Needs Assessment Survey – Phase Two

OCL is excited to share information from MINDSOURCE (Colorado's Brain Injury Network) about the second phase of their needs assessment survey, which will involve a series of focus groups for brain injury survivors and caregivers of brain injury survivors.

OMNI Institute, a nonprofit social science consultancy in Denver, Colorado, will be

facilitating these focus groups for MINDSOURCE, to hear about experiences, care

barriers, and challenges of traditionally underserved communities. Existing research and statistics in Colorado have indicated that several groups are particularly underserved in the brain injury community - people living in rural and frontier communities, the LGBTQ+ community, and Hispanic and Latinx communities. We want to hear from you so that MINDSOURCE and its networks know how to better care for and serve individuals and caregivers!

These focus groups will take place via Zoom for approximately 1.5 hours. Each

participant will receive a $40 gift card after their attendance at the focus group is

confirmed.

If you are interested in being part of this discussion, please click on this Registration Form to register and a team member will follow-up with more information.

If you have questions about these focus groups, please contact OMNI Institute at

braininjury@omni.org.

Thanks for helping MINDSOURCE spread the word about these focus groups by sharing the Flyer in Spanish and Flyer in English with your networks and organization. (Due to recent spamming and bots to the survey, MINDSOURCE discourages sharing the focus group registration form on social media platforms. Thanks!)
