Maurer Fund Supports Community Needs
Introducing the Joel and Helen Maurer Family Fund."We love this community and want to give back broadly through this Fund,” said Joel and Helen. “Our two daughters and their spouses all work as social service professionals. We feel this Fund reflects who we are as a family. A family of service and community.”

Please join us in thanking Micki Chulick for her service on the Community Foundation Board of Directors. Micki served on the Board for a combined 15 years, representing DeKalb.
Announcing the Liam P. Sullivan Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Fund is a tribute to the life of Liam Sullivan (class of 2015) and awards an annual scholarship to a graduating student at Sycamore High School.
Do you know a standout school teacher, administrator, or support staff? Nominate them for a DeKalb County Excellence in Education Award! Deadline to nominate is February 18.
With just one online application, high school students can apply for all scholarships that they quality for. There are more than 75 different Scholarship Funds at the Community Foundation. Thank you to our amazing donors for making these Funds and awards possible.
2022 membership for the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership (DCNP) is underway. This is an excellent opportunity to access the resources, programs, and benefits that a DCNP membership offers.
Give DeKalb County - Nonprofit Registration and Bonus Pool Donations
Nonprofit registration is open for Give DeKalb County 2022. This annual fundraising event features multiple ways for donors to support nonprofit organizations. In addition, the Bonus Pool is seeking donations for those interested in contributing.
