There are regularly scheduled workshops throughout the semester that are designed to sharpen your skills, introduce you to campus resources and services, and provide you with tips and tricks for making each semester successful. Community of Pride
Community of Pride is a learning community specifically designed for LGBTQIA+ students and allies. We recognize that it is particularly important for LGBTQIA+ students to find a safe, supportive, and loving community on campus, and Community of Pride exists to fill this need. EOPS can help you with textbook costs
Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS) can help with textbook costs and support you academically in other ways. Visit the DVC EOPS to apply for spring, and check out this short video to learn about the program and eligibility requirements.

Emergency grants
Emergency grants of $1000 are available to students enrolled for spring. If you are enrolled, have emergency expenses related to COVID-19 or your cost of attendance, and you have not received funding this academic year, you can submit a request for financial assistance. Free tax filing and bigger returns
The expanded California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC), the Young Child Tax Credit, and the federal EITC can combine to put hundreds or even thousands of extra dollars into your pocket. Kennedy-King Scholarship
Each spring the Kennedy-King Memorial College Scholarship Fund Committee awards a number of $12,000 scholarships ($6,000 per year) to Contra Costa County community college students. Don't miss out on this amazing scholarship opportunity!
