New Offering at NCWU Allows for Two Degrees, Two Certificates in 2.5 Years

North Carolina Wesleyan University is introducing a new unique, accelerated program designed for students wishing to elevate their associate degree to a master's degree. Through this new pathway, students will have the opportunity to earn an Executive Leadership Certificate, Human Resources Management Certificate, bachelor's degree and a Master's in Strategic Leadership in approximately two and a half years.

This degree option was designed with working adults in mind by offering 100% online classes. Students can earn certificates as they go with a focus on two classes per term. Read more.

Barnes Family Foundation Awarded Wesleyan Donor Impact Award

For the generosity of their vision, gifts and efforts to make North Carolina Wesleyan a better institution, North Carolina Wesleyan University presented the 2023 Donor Impact Award to Dr. Lee Barnes and his family on Saturday, November 4. Thanks to their generosity, NC Wesleyan has two outdoor classrooms named in honor of Dr. Barnes' parents, Marvin and Cynthia Barnes, and recognizing the Barnes Family Foundation.

The two outdoor classrooms nestled among the trees on the front of campus, were the perfect addition at a time the pandemic had everyone seeking fresh air outdoors. Read more.

Nash County Launches Education Network Agreement

Nash County Public Schools (NCPS), Nash Community College (NCC), and North Carolina Wesleyan University (NCWU) are pleased to announce the signing of the Nash County Education Network agreement.

This collaborative initiative is designed to support local talent by offering an affordable educational pathway from high school to a bachelor's degree within Nash County. Read more.

Reserve Your Wesleyan Memorial Brick

Students, organizations, parents, alumni, and community supporters now have the opportunity to inscribe their names at North Carolina Wesleyan University. The Office of Advancement is selling bricks to be placed at the entrance located at the south end of the Pearsall Library addition, or at the Leon Russell Chapel entrance. Your brick will be a permanent tribute on the NCWU campus and a special way to support NCWU. A brick is a wonderful opportunity to honor a mentor, memorialize a loved one, commemorate an occasion or event, or simply make public your support to NCWU.
